The 14^th South China International Congress of Cardiology was grandly held in Dongfang Hotel in Guangzhou from April 11^th to April 14^th, 2012. Well-known experts of Cardiology from both China and foreign countries, converging together in Guangzhou, discussed the difficulties and hotspots in cardiovascular field and exchanged their experiences therein. Professor Alberto Avolio, a top international expert in cardiovascular research, was invited as a special guest by the organizing committee to the booth of Angy (China) Medical Limited, and he spoke highly of AtCor SphygmoCor System.

In the meeting hall, central aortic blood pressure was put as the focus for discussion again.

Photo 3: Alberto Avolio was giving an academic lecture with the topic Central Aortic Blood Pressure--Why we have to measure it? ( 9:30 am - 9:50 am on April 12^th, 2012). In the lecture, Professor Alberto Avolio emphasized on the importance of Aortic Pulse Wave Analysis (AIx of central arterial) on patients with severe left ventricular systolic dysfunction, where PWA report from AtCor SphygmoCor was applied.
